At the top of a medium size mountain, serviced by railways, up one side down the other. From Goldau one start and down the other to the lake and short walk to ferry.
Excellent meeting/seminar location with fantastic view. Very well arranged 3 day meeting with very good meeting facilities. Food and wine offering very good and service was spotless and friendly. Distance from Zurich airport very convenient and it’s well worth the 1 hour trip to get here
We celebrated my birthday at the hotel in July with 50+ guests. We had an unbelievably nice evening and night, all made possible by Ms. Käppeli and her team. Fantastic location, great food and nice rooms and a host who really understands what you are looking for and then makes it possible! All the guests were super happy and took home great memories. Could not have asked for more. Big thank you!
We primarily went to visit and enjoy a meal experience. The restaurant had good choices and a price that is suited to the place. Beautiful building, a lot of history we were told. We enjoyed our time there and came back with great memories. Though there were a lot of guests, it was extremely well managed.

The restaurant seems not to want guests that are not in the hotel. It's my second time here. They have a wonderful terrace with breathtaking views but both the service and the food are not inviting at all. Lot of space very few tables. All is self-service, fries too salty, WC for 1CHF, even being a customer of the restaurant. It is really a pity for such a nice location. It clearly have enough tourists and revenew but it fails the Swiss quality and principles.
